Robert “Bobby” Allen Sturgeon of Hayes, passed away on Dec. 13, 2022, at the age of 60 from Multiple Myeloma. He went to the doctor about pain in his shoulder and later found out that he had cancer. He fought hard for a little over a year but the cancer was relentless and he sadly lost the battle. Bobby loved cooking and creating new foods; he even went on to become an executive chef. A big part of his life was also his passion for riding motorcycles and working on automobiles. Cancer took him too soon and he will be missed by many friends and loved ones.

A service in his memory will be Saturday, Jan. 7 at 12 p.m. at Gloucester Church of Christ, 2432 Hayes Road, Hayes, Va. 23072. Those who want to stay after for food are asked to please bring a dish.
