The River Country Quilters will meet Tuesday in the Fiddlers Crossing Community Center, Gloucester. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow at 7.
RCQ member Lee Taylor, who is also the owner of Sewlovlee quilt shop in Irvington, will be the program’s guest speaker. “What’s Old is New Again: Vintage to Modern and Modern-Day Vintage, Repurposed Items and Quilts with New Life — Preserving and Passing on Memories Through Quilted Items,” is the topic of the presentation.
With a combination of PowerPoint presentation and trunk show, Taylor will show those in attendance how to reuse and repurpose some of their most cherished items.
