Riptides, Hammerheads, Captains post victories

The Baystars soccer teams had another eventful weekend of games. Three teams left the weekend victorious and two ended their matches in draws.
White Caps
The White Caps hosted the Beach FC boys’ team on Saturday, tying its opponents, 1-1. The White Caps were down much of the game until Theo Collins scored the tying goal in the second half. Goalkeepers Fett Kutch and Noah Ford stopped seven and four shots on goal respectfully. The tie game keeps the White Caps at zero losses on the season.
Stingrays
The Stingrays fought to a 5-5 draw against the Suffolk Sting on Saturday on the road. The game saw the Stingrays take the lead five times with each point answered by the Sting. Eden Gothreau-French scored four goals in the game and Kylie Mueller score once. Mueller along with Brooklyn Robinette and Hadli Sellers each recorded an assist each. Braylin Brochu and Piper Codekas split time in at goalie.
