RILL fall schedule announced

Rappahannock Community College’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning will have a variety of classes for the fall semester, ranging from retirement planning to pickleball.
“Retirement Planning” will be instructed by Laura Bondurant, registered Social Security analyst, who will discuss the importance and benefits of Social Security, how to calculate earnings and disbursements, and cost of living adjustments.
Bondurant will also tackle common questions about Medicare and Medigap plans. This course is designed to help students feel comfortable making decisions about retirement. Classes will be held Sept. 12, 19 and 26 from 1-3 p.m. at RCC’s Glenns campus. The cost is $35.
“Beginner Pickleball” will be taught by Carlos Morales, a USA Pickleball Ambassador and certified pickleball coach. This course is designed for the first-time adult player and will cover the basics of pickleball rules, terminology, primary skills, coordination, beginner court time and more.
