Rhythms on the Riverwalk returns Sept. 6

This year, Yorktown celebrates its 15th annual Rhythms on the Riverwalk concert series. These free outdoor performances are held every Friday in September, ending on the first Friday in October. Each concert will be held at Riverwalk Landing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The lineup includes performers of several genres, including country, big band and jazz:
Sept. 6: Good Shot Judy. This group includes elements of jazz, swing and big band favorites. Good Shot Judy has opened for national acts such as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Squirrel Nut Zippers and The Cherry Poppin’ Daddies.
Sept. 13: Little Country. A six-piece classic rock and country cover band, Little Country has performed throughout the Tidewater area.
Sept. 20: The Mullins Sisters. They perform everything from traditional country to modern chart toppers—with a pure harmony only sisters can achieve, a release stated.
