RFA concert series ends this month

The 2021-2022 Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts On Stage season “We’re Back on Track” will conclude at the end of the month with a pair of back-to-back productions.
“Face 2 Face: A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel” will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April, 23 at Lancaster Middle School. Originally booked for January, these tribute artists, Ronnie Smith as Elton John and Mike Santoro as Billy Joel, play the million-selling songs that dominated the charts from the 1970s to the 1990s.
The following Saturday, April 30, the Richmond Symphony will return to close out the season. This concert will also be at 7:30 p.m. at Lancaster Middle School.
Founded in 1957, the Richmond Symphony, with 70 professional musicians, is the largest performing arts organization in Central Virginia. It will be led by Nicholas Hersh, associate conductor of the Baltimore Symphony, who has conducted symphonies in Baltimore, Atlanta, Sarasota, Houston, North Carolina, New Jersey, and Virginia.
