Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts board president Rita Grinbergs revealed the lineup for the upcoming 30th season of On Stage productions at a May 11 reception for donors at the RAL Art Center in Kilmarnock, where attendees enjoyed the current art exhibits, “Sky’s the Limit” and “Art in Transit.”
Grinbergs noted that the five shows of the 2023-24 season will begin late this year, following extensive renovations at Lancaster Middle School. The season opens Dec. 9 with BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, a Grammy-winning Cajun band from Louisiana known for bringing audiences to their feet.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, the Latin Ballet of Virginia comes to town. March brings Saint Patrick’s Day, and in its honor, the RFA stage will host a Celtic Celebration with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra on March 16.
Things heat up in April with The Soul Expressions Band—The Motown Show on April 20.
