Revolutionary War program Sunday

Actor/interpreter Stephen Seals of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will take spectators back to the Revolutionary War era as he portrays James Armistead Lafayette, an enslaved African American who became a hero for his contributions as a spy for the Continental Army, in a special program on Sunday in Gloucester.
The Sunday Speaker Series event, sponsored by the Woodville Rosenwald School Foundation and the Cook Foundation, will begin at 2 p.m. in Gloucester’s colonial courthouse. The program is free and open to the public.
