Proceeds from Tuesday’s upcoming Community Benefit Day at Jessica’s On Main will go to the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic.
Melissa Hartman, owner of the Gloucester Court House restaurant, will donate a quarter of the day’s receipts, from breakfast to dinner, to help the clinic in its mission to provide care for Gloucester’s uninsured and under-insured residents.
Upcoming Community Benefit Days recipients at Jessica’s on Main include Julia Allen, a woman with cystic fibrosis awaiting a double lung transplant (June 11); The Arc of the Virginia Peninsula/Lewis B. Puller Center (June 25); the restaurant’s Share a Meal Program, which provides free coffee, breakfast or lunch to those in need (July 9), and the Bread for Life Community Pantry (July 23).
