Chad Green of York, right, whose district includes part of Gloucester, presented a copy of Virginia General Assembly House Joint Resolution No. 107 to Gary McFadden, left, manager of the Yorktown ReStore. The resolution recognizes the impact of the Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg Yorktown ReStore in its first year of operation. The presentation was made Aug. 27. The store supports Habitat’s mission “to build affordable homes and hope for families right here in our local community,” said Janet V. Green, area Habitat CEO.
