The Middlesex County Rescue Squad will hold its inaugural Rescue Regatta fundraiser Saturday at the Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Deltaville.A welcome dinner with Smokin’ Joe Davenport’s BBQ and entertainment by Midnight Coal Company will be hosted by Stingray Harbor Yacht Club and Safe Harbor Stingray Point starting at 6 p.m. Friday.
The race itself, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, will consist of a single pursuit (staggered start) format. An awards dinner will be held at 6 that evening, hosted by the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary with entertainment by Justice Goldstar at the MCVRS Building in Deltaville. All proceeds from the weekend events will benefit the rescue squad.
