Release party Saturday for Ballast Band’s second album

Gloucester’s own rock group The Ballast Band will release its second album, “Seventh City,” at “Banger in the Hangar II,” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Channelside in Mathews. Channelside, 305 Marina Road, is the riverfront property of Drs. Barbara Allison-Bryan and Hugh Bryan.
Proceeds from Saturday’s event will benefit the Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team (GUEST) program. 
Tickets are $10 in advance or at the door. Children under 14 are free. Food, soft drinks, beer, wine, and the new album will be available for purchase.
