Registration open for well water testing

Registration is now open for the Lower Middle Peninsula Well Water Clinic, offered by Virginia Cooperative Extension.
Sample kits will cost $70 this year, but limited scholarship funds are available for those unable to afford the testing fee. Samples will test for the following levels—bacteria, lead, copper, arsenic, iron, manganese, pH, hardness, sodium, sulfate, fluoride, total dissolved solids, and nitrate.
All registration will be done online at https://tinyurl.com/VCE-VAHWQP-LMP. All payments will be made online via credit card; however, if you do not have a credit card or are unable to use your card, let them know and they can figure out alternate registration/payment methods. Registration closes May 29.
The dates, times and locations for the available kick-off meetings (where you receive the testing kits, instructions, and some basic education on well water maintenance) will be:
