The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ volleyball placed second in the 2023 Virginia High School League Boys’ Volleyball Region Class 4 Eastern Section tournament after falling to Churchland, 3-2, at Jamestown High School on Monday. The Dukes defeated Denbigh last Thursday night at home, 3-1, securing their place as the region’s runners-up. Gloucester will play Hanover at 6 p.m. Saturday in the first round of the state tournament at home. Tickets are $10 and sold online through gofan.co only.
