Regina “Gina” Dale Walker, age 61, of Hayes, died on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Gina was born on November 30, 1963 to the late Stanley Jenkins and Nannie Mae Belvin McComber. In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Lee Walker Sr.; stepfather, Clarence Albert McComber; brother, Erik McComber; nephew, Collin McComber; sister-in-law, Esther Jenkins, and faithful canine companion, Peanut. Gina is survived by her sons, Randy Walker (Melissa) and Carlton Lee Walker Jr. (Penny); grandchildren, Denise, Tammy, Emma, Lexi, and Joshua, and great-grandchildren, Kaylei and Jackson. Siblings, Angie Jenkins and Sean McComber (Jacky); aunts, Charlotte Hall and Vernetta Coates (Richard); cousins, Audrey Belvin, Barbara Haselwood (John), Keith Coates (Carla); sister-in-law, Brenda Sue Smith, and best friend of over 50 years, Debbie Phillips (Chris), also survive her. Gina was a kind, generous person who was always there to support her family, friends, children, and grandchildren in times of triumph and tragedy. An avid Redskins fan, Gina loved spending time at the beach or the mountains and considered her grandchildren one of her greatest earthly blessings. The family would like to thank Lisa Hillman (Sean) for her help these past weeks. The office of Dr. Paul Hiotellis, Tiffany and TPMG for their care throughout the years. Also, Sabrina and Integrity Medical Transport for their kindness and compassion in making Gina feel safe when transported to and from dialysis or medical appointments. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 11-11:45 a.m., followed by the chapel service, conducted by Pastor Bill West, beginning at noon. Burial will follow in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
