I believe there are some individuals in Mathews County who need a refresher course into exactly what the Citizens for the Common Good stands for.
The organization, based in Arlington, the Democrat stronghold of the state, is dedicated to helping Democrat campaigns win what they have determined to be critical races in Virginia.
Their favorite opening line is, “I’m a conservative.” Really, do any of us believe that? Their candidates are taught to arrive well dressed, smile a lot, talk slowly and deliver messages voters want to hear. Their whole message is orchestrated.
Their last great act of defiance was using the postal service to flood us with mostly unwanted campaign propaganda. It took us five years to save our county from the last group of liberals. Surely we don’t want to go back there.
Northern Virginia is slowly moving in on us. If we deliver our county to these people, the whole rural structure will begin to erode away. Taxes will skyrocket and dollars ...
