Longtime Mathews High School volleyball coach was recognized by the Virginia High School League at the end of last season with its Regional Award of Merit, but Josh Grein, last year’s MHS athletic director, didn’t have an opportunity to present the honor before the season came to an end. Now the AD at Caroline High School, he came back to Mathews on Oct. 16 to make the overdue presentation. Moughon, center, jokingly holds the plaque to cover up the Caroline logo on Grein’s shirt.
