Recipes from the second generation

NUTTY NOODLYS
6 oz. La Choy chow mein noodles
1 (12-oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1 (12-oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
¾ c. chopped pecans (optional)
In large saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and butterscotch bits, stirring occasionally. When thoroughly melted remove from heat and add chow mein noodles and nuts and coat noodles with melted mixture. Spoon out onto waxed paper covered cookie sheets and place in refrigerator until firm. Place in tightly covered container and store in refrigerator until ready to enjoy! Makes about 3 dozen pieces.
 
QUICK SNACKING CRACKERS
16 oz. oyster crackers
¾ c. oil
1 (10-oz.) pkg. milk-based Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (the original)
¼ c. grated Parmesan cheese
Combine first oil, dressing and cheese. Toss with crackers in large mixing bowl. Let stand for several hours, stirring occasionally. Store in tightly covered container.
