3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
6 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Cream sugar and butter until light. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat. To this mixture add flour alternately with milk and beat until light and fluffy. Turn into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325°F. for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
PECAN PIE

3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. pecan halves
1 (9-inch) pastry shell, uncooked
Beat eggs. Add salt, butter, sugar, corn syrup and pecan halves. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 20 minutes at 375°F., then 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F, or until set and pastry is nicely browned.
BARBECUED RIBS
1½ lb. ribs, single cut
Sauce
2 Tbs. oil
½ c. onion, chopped
1 small can tomatoes
2 tsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
Salt to taste
