SPICY TOMATO CHEDDAR
“This recipe is quick to make, portable and can be made in advance. It also makes a nice hostess gift. Package in an attractive jar and decorate top with fabric and a ribbon.”
16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (4 oz.) jar of chopped pimento, drained
1 (10-oz.) can Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, drained
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. salt
Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl.
This recipe takes only 10 minutes to prepare. It keeps quite well in the refrigerator and even gets better after a few days. Great served on buttery round crackers and also makes a tasty variation of traditional Pimento Cheese on Rye sandwiches.
