An exhibit of works by artists and friends Bruce Fransen and Ed Gorham will open with a reception from 6-8 p.m. during tomorrow’s First Friday program at Arts on Main in Gloucester. It is free and open to the public.
In the show, “The Impossible Just Takes a Little Longer,” the artists strive for the impossible by weaving their work into worlds of aquatic fantasy, said a press release. Gorham creates vibrant and fanciful paintings, while Fransen carves intricate and stunning wood sculptures.
Live music will be provided by Rob Oliver, and light refreshments will be served, with beer and wine available for purchase. The show will be on display until Saturday, June 1.
Fransen, a resident of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, is an award-winning sculptor, musician and arborist, said the release.
