Renowned artist P. Buckley Moss will be at the Mathews Historical Museum, 200 Main Street, on Sunday, Aug. 14, with a second artwork, presented as a print and on a tile, made exclusively for the museum. The new artwork, “Workhorse of the Bay,” shows a Chesapeake Bay deadrise. It joins an earlier painting of New Point Lighthouse which Moss created for the museum. The reception of tea and cookies will be held from 4-7 p.m. “Workhorse of the Bay,” shown here, will be available for purchase at the event.
