The Abingdon Ruritan Club’s Social Development Committee, led by David and Abby Bowles, organized participate in Friday’s Reality Store event at Page Middle School. The middle school students purchased real life items and services to live in the community. There were many decisions to be made and their livelihood depended on how they prioritized their spending habits. Club participants included Scott Olmsted and Abby Bowles (above) advising students on transportation options and David Bowles (below) selling insurance options.
