Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Bohannon, is gearing up for its annual community fish fry on Friday, March 13. The entire church will be involved in the event, from setup to creating desserts to topping off the complete fish dinner. Takeout meals will be available from 4-5:30 p.m. and sit-down meals, 5-7 p.m. Get tickets early by calling Karen Goode at 804-505-1253. Tickets are 13 and older, $12. Children 6-12 are $5 and those 5 and under eat free.
