Rappahannock Community College now awards degrees and certificates after each academic semester, rather than in the spring only, according to an RCC spokesperson.
Graduates will receive their academic credentials at the time they complete the requirements, and may then march in the commencement procession the following May.
These Gloucester students were awarded degrees and certificates after the summer semester: Jessica R. Husband, general education; Joseph W. Los, associate of arts and sciences (cum laude); Whitney C. Miller, practical nursing; Karen A.C. Mortensen, general education; Jennifer L. Odom, associate of arts and sciences (magna cum laude), and Samantha E. Willis, nursing.
The following Mathews students were awarded degrees and certificates: Petrina M. Riley, accounting and Lianne L. White, general education (summa cum laude).
