Raymond “Troy” Johnson, 61, of Susan, Virginia, passed away on August 10, 2024 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Troy was born in Mathews, Va., on November 4, 1964, to Jeanette O. Johnson and the late George Jackson. He was predeceased by his father, George Jackson; grandmother, Thelma Jackson, and son, Raheem Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Jeanette O. Johnson; son, Raymond Troy Johnson Beale; sisters, Thelisha and Crystal; aunts, Doris Tabb, Ida Lee Johnson and Joyce Thomas, and a host of cousins and countless friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins, Virginia. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, August 17, 2024, at New Hope Fellowship, 11906 General Puller Highway, Hartfield, Virginia 23071; Pastor Leonard Edloe officiating.
