Raymond Albert Beattie of North, Va., passed away on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2015, at the age of 84.

He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Fleming Beattie.

He is survived by his five children, Michael Beattie (Carol), Eris Kehaley-Corr, Lori Beattie (Paul), Mary Beattie, Patrick Beattie (Charlene), and his grandchildren, Michael Beattie, Nicole and Emily Knight, Lily Beattie, Walker Redman, and Brandon, Chad and Connor Beattie.

Services will be held at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, followed by calling hours from 6:30-8 p.m. Interment will be in Marathon, N.Y., at a later date.
