Ray Everett Speight Sr., 86, of Gloucester Point, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Ray was preceded in death by his son, Ray Speight Jr., and he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheri; his son, Joshua and his wife Sydney, and grandchildren, Graham and Grace; his son, Ivy and his wife Susan. There will be a private family service in North Carolina at a later date. In memory of Ray, contributions may be made to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
