A drive-up rabies clinic for dogs only will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the Gloucester High School parking lot. Sponsored by Gloucester County Animal Control, Gloucester Veterinary Hospital, and the Rotary Club of Gloucester, the clinic will cost $10 per dog, cash only.
All dogs must be leashed, and aggressive dogs should be muzzled. All rabies vaccines will default to a one-year expiration date, although three-year vaccines will be available with proof of a prior rabies vaccine.
The clinic is being held in conjunction with Gloucester Sheriff’s and Treasurer’s offices, CERT, the Virginia Department of Health, and Gloucester High School.
