The Gloucester Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism and River Country Quilters are now accepting entries in the 2017 Quilts of River Country Show to be held on Sept. 15-16 in and around the Gloucester court circle.
The deadline for entries is July 25. All quilters who reside on the Middle Peninsula or are a member of River Country Quilters, Bay Quilters or Stingray Stitchers are eligible to show their quilts and quilted items (usable items such as placemats, wall-hangings, table runners, wearables, etc.).
Quilt entry forms are available on the Gloucester PRT website (www.gloucesterva.info/pr under special events), at the PRT office (6489 Main Street) or at River Country Quilt Guild meetings (fourth Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church on Main Street).
