Q24, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization focused on its “Quest” to be sold out to Christ “24” hours a day, is bringing the community revival event, “No Greater Love Tour,” to Williams Wharf in Mathews, on Saturday, Aug. 27, beginning at 6 p.m. Rain location is at Mathews Baptist Church.
Previously held twice in Tappahannock and once in Lynchburg, the No Greater Love Tour is a free event and will feature local musical groups and a message by Tucker LaForce, who is on the Board of Directors for Q24. Performers include Press On, the Mathews Community VBS Make Waves Kids, Michele Thacker and Joe Magyar, and the Q24 Praise Team.Nelda Gibbs and her team will be there with homemade ice cream and pound cake. These items are free, but a donation for Meals on Wheels is appreciated.
“It’s an honor for us to partner with Q24,” said Gibbs.
The food truck, “On the Flip Side,” will have items available for purchase. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
