Local author Patti Procopi will be the guest speaker at the upcoming Book Author Luncheon sponsored annually by the York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons.
The luncheon will be held at noon on Friday, March 21, at Providence Baptist Church, 3501 Providence Road, Hayes.
The theme of the event is “Teapots,” and three door prizes will be given out. The public is invited to attend.
Tickets are $30 and are available from circle members or at The Silver Box, 6630 Main Street, Gloucester. Make checks payable to YRCKDS.
Proceeds will benefit The Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and four other local charities.

Procopi is the author of the novel “Please … Tell Me More,” about a woman dealing with guilt over the death of her little sister after growing up in a dysfunctional family. Published in 2020, the paperback book has 300 pages and is available at amazon.com.
