The Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association held its weekly contest on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Hartfield course. Individual Gross winners were:
First flight—Kay Stout (first place, 87), Judy Spain (second place, 89) and Mary Francisco (third place, 92). Second flight—Gloria Matthews (first place, 96), Chrystal Welch (second place, 99) and Mary Dorman (third place, 101). Third flight—Karen Gorin (first place, 110), Donna Lange (second place, 112) and Lynne Richardson (third place, 113).
