The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association held Mish Mash competition on Sept. 5. The first-place team of Kay Stout, Mary Edmonds, and Sally Austin had a score of 78. In second place with a score of 79 was the team of Colleen Deluca, Karen Gorin, and Judy Spain. The team of Chrystal Welch, Ann Stanley and Chong Hudgins hung on to third place by a scorecard playoff with their 81.

The PRLGA participated in individual flighted net stoke play on Thursday, Aug. 29 at the golf course in Hartfield. Individual winners in each flight were:
First flight—Colleen Robertson (first place, 76), Martha Wiggs (second place, 78) and Vicky Gunn (third place, 78). Second flight—Chrystal Welch (first place, 70), Colleen DeLuca (second place, 72) and Chong Hudgins (third place, 72).
