The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association played a Preferred Drive-Best Ball net format on Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Hartfield course. Winners were:
Kay Stout, Gloria Matthews, Chong Hudgins and Jo Turek won with a score of 50. The foursome of Vicky Gunn, Mary Dorman, Julie Whitaker and Lisa Lavery placed second with a score of 53. Martha Wiggs, Jen Trossbach, Mary Edmonds and Ann Stanley came in third with a 54.
