The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association held a low gross contest on Thursday, July 11 at the Hartfield course. Winners were:
First flight—Kay Stout (first place, 77), Nina Carter (second place, 89) and Kelly Lowe (third place, 92). Second flight—Mary Edmonds (first place, 96), Mary Dorman (second place, 97) and Kayce Turner (third place, 98). Third flight—Donna Lange (first place, 96), Sherri Comer (second place, 97) and Chong Hudgins (third place, 99).
