The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association played a Tee to Green contest on Thursday, May 16 at the Hartfield course. Winners were:
First flight—Martha Wiggs (first place, 54-tie breaker on card), ReGina Custis (second place, 54) and Kay Stout (third place, 54). Second flight—Mary Dorman (first place, 66), Lisa Lavery (second place, 68) and Gloria Matthews (third place, 68-tie breaker). Third flight—Donna Lange (first place, 71), Marny Richardson (second place, 73) and Lynne Richardson (third place, 76).
