The Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association held a Captain’s Choice contest on its April 3 play day at the Hartfield course.
The team of Gina Custis, Becky Cranis-Curl, Colleen Deluca and Lynne Richardson placed first with a team score of 68.
Placing second were Nina Carter, Vicky Gunn, Chong Hudgins and Christy Pitts, who scored a 69. Coming in third were Julie Whitaker, Debbie Fifer, Roseanne Moncure and Carol Sennott with a score of 71.
