The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association held its weekly competition last Thursday at the Hartfield course. Players competed in a team format called “Sixes.” Winners were:
First place—Nancy Pannell, Colleen DeLuca and Sherri Comer (with a score of 62, winning after a scorecard tie); second place—Martha Wiggs, Millie San Juan, and Sally Austin (62); and, third place—Christi Lewis, Eileen Crittenden and Kayce Turner (65).
