The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association participated in individual gross flighted play on Thursday, Aug. 24, at the golf course in Hartfield. Individual winners in each flight were:
First flight—Nina Carter (first place, 88), Judy Spain (second place, 93) and Ellen McGowan (third place, 94).
Second flight—June Klink (first place, 91), Christy Pitts (second place, 96) and Mary Edmonds (third place, 99).
Third flight—Sherri Comer (first place, 99), Donna Lange (second place, 100) and Marny Richardson (third place, 109).
