The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association hosted its annual Golf Invitational on Thursday, July 18 at the Piankatank River Golf Club, Hartfield.
This year’s theme was “Christmas in July” with festivities, raffles, food and fun organized by planning committee members Gloria Matthews, Donna Lange, Michele Meanley and Kay Stout.
Twenty-four teams comprised of 96 women from the surrounding area, as well as from regional destinations and other golf leagues and courses, participated in the team game of “Santa’s Gambling Scramble.”
Winners were: Overall Low Gross: Colleen Robertson, Mary Beth Huneke, Casey Burley and Candance Haske. Overall Low Net: Lisa Lavery, Chris Miles, Jena Simpson and Paige Simpson.
