Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association held a Criss-Cross contest on April 17 at the Hartfield course. Winners were:First flight—Kay Stout (first place, 34), Nina Carter (second place, 36) and Vicky Gunn (third place, 38). Second flight—Becky Crannis-Curl (first place, 38), Christi Lewis (second place, 43) and Kayce Turner (third place, 44). Third flight—Chong Hudgins (first place, 46), June Klink (second place, 47) and Karen Gorin (third place, 49).
