Primis Bank has made the decision to consolidate its Gloucester Point and Gloucester Court House locations, according to President and CEO Dennis J. Zember Jr.
The move is being made as part of a larger restructuring effort of the Henrico-based firm, with the Gloucester Point branch (1953 George Washington Memorial Highway) closing its doors for the last time on Friday, Oct. 27.
In addition to the Gloucester Court House branch (7132 George Washington Memorial Highway), customers will continue to have access to their accounts through mobile and online resources, as well as use of its free banking delivery app, V1BE. Speaking of that app, Zember said that Primis is “the only bank in nation [that] has an app will bring any banking service to your doorstep.”
Zember said his bank takes pride in the convenient delivery of its services. “Even with one branch [in the county], I feel confident that we can continue to do this,” he said.
