The Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron will offer a two-session Safe Boating Course from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. October 12 and 19 at the NNSPS Classroom, Chesapeake Commons, 453C North Main Street, Kilmarnock. The fee is $25.Register at seo@abcnnk.org or by calling 804-339-7218.
The course will cover the requirements for a Virginia Safe Boating Card plus boating in adverse conditions, handling medical emergencies, dealing with mechanical problems, towing, trailering, and anchoring.
