About 30 brave souls ran into (and quickly out of) the icy cold waters of the Chesapeake Bay on Saturday morning, all for a good cause. The fourth annual Mathews Polar Plunge at Haven Beach in Mathews, organized by Mathews Elementary School kindergarten teacher Amy Ashberry, raised $2,177 for Meals on Wheels with some donations still trickling in.
