Players present ‘Plaza Suite’

The Court House Players will present Neil Simon’s comedy “Plaza Suite” Aug. 1-4 at the Church of St. Therese, 6262 Main Street, Gloucester.
The comedy classic paints a portrait of three couples successively occupying a suite at New York’s premiere 1960s-era luxury hotel, The Plaza.
In Act I, a suburban couple portrayed by Anne Rhodes and Tom Robinson take the suite while their house is being painted, and it turns out to be the one in which they honeymooned 23 (or was it 24?) years before. The act is directed by Sherry Hamilton.
R.J. Erickson makes his CHP directorial debut with Act II, which features Shawn Jaeger as a Hollywood producer and J.J. Brazil as his childhood sweetheart and now suburban housewife.
The last act is directed by John Dempsey, who made his directorial debut last year with the production of “The Dixie Swim Club.” In this act, Lara Emerson and R.J. Erickson play a couple trying to get their reluctant bride daughter out of the bath...
