The Gloucester Master Gardeners 22nd annual Plant Extravaganza will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Gloucester Moose Lodge, 6565 Moose Drive.
The Master Gardeners will have a variety of native plants, perennials, herbs, houseplants and gently used garden tools and books for sale. All the plants are grown by Master Gardeners or donated by local nurseries.
The Plant Extravaganza runs from 3-7 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. In addition, on Friday night the Gloucester Ruritan Club will be present, taking donations for hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks.
Master Gardeners will be on hand to sharpen your neglected gardening tools while you shop, as well as answer your gardening questions and provide expert advice on which plants to buy.
There are activities for the young gardeners in a family. There will be a booth full of activities and a playground to occupy children while you shop.
