Gloucester Pickleball Club hosted its second Ladder Event last month. The event lasted several weeks with players trying to achieve the most points throughout the night. At the end of the four weeks, the top five finishers out of 26 participants, from first to fifth places, were: Ricky Kinser, Lanell Jarvis, Dustin Taylor, Eric Smith and Rick Gardner. Kinser and Jarvis received $100 gift certificates from major event sponsor Nicole Michael with Vashti’s Jewelers. All of the participants received gift certificates from the other event sponsors, Northern Neck Popcorn Bag and Kelsick Market.
