The entertainments given by the Mathews High School on Friday and Monday nights proved a great success in every respect, and Miss Daughtrey deserves much credit for her untiring efforts which brought about the success of the entertainments. About $75 was realized from admission and ice cream, which will go for the piano fund of the school.
