Phyllis Ann Rilee, 73, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. She was born in Newport News, Va., and was the daughter of the late Willard and Lydia Oliver Rilee. She was a member of Newington Baptist Church and retired from Dominion Power as the Business Office Supervisor. After retirement she was the Deputy Commissioner of Revenue for Gloucester County, and also had worked for First Advantage Bank. She also was a member of the Virginia Genealogical Society (that was her thing).

She is survived by her son, Trey Rilee; grandsons, Hunter and Jackson Rilee, and her sister, Linda R. Johnston.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, from 6-7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire & Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ron Haggerty and his staff for the loving care they gave her.
